Mind Mapping

I’m reviewing PHYA1 using mind maps.

I’m finding this extremely useful. Not only do mind maps show different relationships and connections, they also easily reveal the basic concepts clearly using relatively few words.

I find that 10×10’s are great: 1o minute review/memory training and then a 10 minute break after this. I then try to recall the information or speak out loud on the subject as much as possible.

Usually, when making notes I will go 25×15: 25 minutes study and note taking and then 15 minutes break.

My concentration tends to waver over 10 minutes so I need to stay alert and fresh.

I’ve noticed that 10 minutes of effective study is worth more than several hours of distracted study.
